Suman Lihiya

Suman sa Lihiya is a traditional Filipino rice cake its made from glutinous rice and small amount of food grade lye water,which gives the rice its characteristics chewy,firm texture.

Its commonly wrapped in banana leaves,and steamed ,then served with caramel latik.
